Director Patrick Archie will guide you through the O’Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm to learn about sustainable agriculture, ecological relationships in the fields and educational programs.
Please arrive early to guarantee a spot and wear comfortable shoes for a short walk on uneven ground. Bus boarding begins at 1:15 p.m. at Bing Concert Hall and return around 3:00 p.m.
Patrick Archie is the director of the O’Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm. He has worked for over twenty years developing sustainable urban agriculture and food justice programs and integrating this work with undergraduate education. Patrick’s interests include agroecosystem design, urban and peri-urban food systems, sustainable community development, alternative land tenure models, food justice, experiential education and community-based learning.
