Join Stanford Engineering faculty Joseph DeSimone, Renee Zhao, and Mark Skylar-Scott as they speak on the ways that 3D printing technologies are advancing human health. They will describe how their labs use 3D printing to create vaccine patches, engineer life-saving heart tissue, and produce tiny robots that can deliver targeted drugs or break up clots. This event will bring together faculty from the departments of Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Bioengineering. The flash talks will include:
