Class Books - General FAQ

When will I receive the printed Class Book? (applies to page submitters only)

Printed books, a complimentary gift from the Stanford Alumni Association to those who submitted a page, were dropped in the mail during the entire month of September.

The classes of '59, '69, '74, '84, '04, '09 and '14 were mailed early September, and the classes of '64, '79, '89, 94, and '99 were mailed at the end of the September.

If you are a member of these classes and submitted a Class Book page and have not received your book, please email and we can attempt to track your book's location.

Typically, printed books are mailed out in August, but we launched our new digital Class Books on July 29. Digital book pages are searchable and display photographs much larger than the printed version.

We apologize for the delay in print this year.

Is it too late to submit a page?

The Class Book print deadline was May 8, 2019 for the printed Class Book. The digital Class Book, just published August 2, does allow you to submit a page at this time! Find directions for viewing your digital Class Book here:

When can I view the digital version?

The books are now viewable online. Please note that we initially experienced technical difficulties with missing pages, incorrect data, missing photos, and missing maiden names and are working to fix those errors as quickly as possible.

How long will the digital version remain password-protected online?

The Class Book will remain password-protected online indefinitely.

Are previous Class Books available to view online?

Class Books from 2014 are viewable online.

Can I edit my page if I already submitted it?

Unfortunately, our editorial cycle for the printed Class Book is complete and changes cannot be made to your printed page at this time. You can however, edit the page on the digital version of the book. Visit (where XXXX is your class year). You'll also need to enter the password/access code you received in your August 2 email to access the book. Click on "My Page" in the upper right hand corner of the page then click "Edit my page" using the email you created your page with.
